WELCOME TO SECOND REFORMED UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST OF LEXINGTON, NC! Thank you for choosing to visit our website. We invite you to "walk through" the pages of the information regarding our church. Second church is a mainline protestant Christian church with a long and rich history. Steeped in a proud tradition as a local church and as a denomination, we hold to the beliefs set forth in the Bible. "The Apostles' Creed" and other long-standing confessions of faith define who we are and what we believe. This church has a reputation of caring for those in the community as well as the members of the church. We are involved in many social ministries as well as proclaiming the "Good News" of God's salvation through Jesus Christ, both in our immediate area and in the world through global ministries/missions. There is a place of study and fellowship for persons of all ages. Our Bible study classes meet for Sunday school at 9:45 am. This is a great opportunity to meet others and form friendships. The worship service begins at 11:00 am. In these two settings you will get a feel for the warmth of a loving congregation. At the present time, the church is in a period of transition, following the retirement of the most recent pastor. A search committee is working to locate and "call" (employ) a new pastor.
