THE SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM.   Today we celebrate the baptism of Ella Kate Rummage, the infant daughter of Robby and Wende Rummage.  We pray God’s blessings upon this family in this special time of their lives.

           

The altar flowers are to the glory of God and in loving memory of Jack Burkhart, given by Rachel Burkhart.    

 

The Community Lenten Services series will continue this Wednesday in the First United Methodist Church.  The service is from 12 noon to 12:30 p.m.  Then lunch will be served in the church dining area for a $5.00 fee.  This particular service will be led by the UCC clergy and Pastor Coltrane will deliver the message.  This event is open to all who wish to participate.

Second Thursday Family Night, March 11th, 6:30 pm.  Menu: Pinto Beans, Stewed Potatoes, Cooked Cabbage, Cornbread, Dessert and Beverage.  Cost $6 per person or $20 for a family of 4 or more.  Tickets available from Randy Tysinger, Wende Rummage or the church office.  The speaker will be Ellen Welborn from Lexington Memorial Hospital.  She will be speaking about services offered through the hospital.
